Georgia governor admits that controversial election law has nothing to do with voter fraud

Georgia’s governor has admitted that a controversial election bill he signed into law amid Donald Trump’s false claims of voting irregularities “has nothing to do with potential fraud”.

Experts described it as an “important admission” by Republican Brian Kemp in an interview with WABE radio, after the governor signed sweeping ballot restrictions into law last week amid protests and outrage from across the US.
