 Jocelyn Benson, Michigan’s top election official, had just finished hanging Christmas decorations with her young son on Saturday night when a crowd demanding November’s presidential election result be reversed gathered outside her home to denounce her as a “traitor” and a “criminal.”

The demonstrators, some armed and holding up placards saying “Stop the Steal”, clustered on the sidewalk outside Benson’s Detroit home as security and police officers looked on, video broadcast live on Facebook by one of the participants showed.

Late on Nov. 3, election workers in Fulton County, Georgia, heard that they would be allowed to go home for the night. So they packed uncounted ballots into suitcases and prepared to lock up for the evening.

When word came that they couldn’t leave yet, they dragged the suitcases back out and began counting the ballots again.

One Georgia county recertified its election results on Friday as Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger’s office debunked a recently surfaced video that appeared to show illegal ballot-counting without supervisors.

The Fulton County Board of Registration and Elections adjourned a meeting Friday in which members voted to recertify the results of the 2020 presidential race in favor of President-elect Joe Biden in a 3-2 voice vote.

Georgia election officials disputed a video promoted by President Donald Trump’s campaign as evidence of election fraud, saying the footage shows nothing but “normal ballot processing.”

The surveillance video was introduced as proof of illegal activity by Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani and his team during a Dec. 3 hearing with Georgia state legislators. The Trump campaign then circulated One America News Network’s live coverage of the event online.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – With the runoff elections a little over a month away, voting rights advocates and third-party groups across the state are ramping up their efforts to register Georgia voters.

And even if you didn’t vote in the presidential election, you can still vote in the runoffs.

As the election recount in Georgia nears its end, the stake are rising for the January runoffs.

“We used to have, what was called election day. Now we have election days, weeks and months,” President Donald Trump said in a briefing.
